Luxor Times was at the mummification museum for Dr. Ray Johnson and he was talking at a part of his lecture about Chicago House work at Luxor Temple and mentioned that the opening for the open air museum will take place on Monday 29 , March 2010.
Luxor Times was there on Tuesday and brought to you those photographs of some of the fragments that Chicago House put so much effort and work to be able to display them for visitors.
Only one down side to it that tour guides don’t tell people about it.So many visitors at the temple but only 3 were walking around in the open air museum for almost an hour.
People need to know about it and start to go and have a look.Believe me , you will enjoy it so much as there is a wide range of fragments cover different eras of Egyptian history from Pharaohs time to mid 1960s.
Well , we will leave you now to enjoy looking at the photos Luxor Time took for you but remember that it doesn’t stop you from going to Luxor Temple and see it yourself.
