Minister of Antiquities says “All legal procedures were taken to stop the sale of an artefact in London and repatriate it back to Egypt.”
Ali Ahmed, director of the repatriated antiquities department, said “The artefact is a glass bottle dated to Mamluk era (15th century). The bottle is spherical glass decorated with floral textured patterns in red enamel.”
