The Augustana College Band has been attracting great Egyptian crowds during its tour in Alexandria, Tanta, Assiut, and Cairo, since January 10, 2011. This American musical group, brought to Egypt with the support of His Excellency Minister of Higher Education Hany Hilal and in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and Wings Tours, has been learning about Egyptian culture in their meetings with Egyptian musicians and visits to a variety of Egypt’s most celebrated cultural venues.
