A number of 778 objects to be moved on Thursday from storage in Luxor and Esna to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)
The objects are from different eras of ancient Egyptian periods but mostly New Kingdom.
They include a number of sarcophagi and pottery as well as a large statue of Amenhotep III with God Horus. The pink granite statue weigh 4 tons.
All the objects received primarily restoration before moving using equipped vehicles regarding vibrations and temperature controlled.
